Through failure analysis, find the possible causes of product failure in the design, production, process, storage, and transportation stages, and in-depth study of product failure mechanism, providing theoretical basis for improving product yield and optimizing production process.
CTI provides testing services for fiber composite materials related to building materials and construction projects, including appearance, size, interlayer shear strength, positive tensile bond strength, elongation, mass per unit area, tensile modulus of elasticity, and tensile strength.
Generally sandwich structure is used for wings, tail, fuselage, speed brake, engine compartment, etc. Compared with thin-walled skins, sandwich panels have a much larger thickness, strong resistance to instability, smooth surface, and good aerodynamic appearance. However, due to the complex manufacturing process and the difficult inspection of process quality, the application is greatly restricted. The materials of the sandwich structure sheet mainly include aluminum alloy, stainless steel, titanium alloy and various composite materials. Interlayer materials include light wood, foam plastic, etc., and metal or composite materials can also be used to make corrugated interlayer or honeycomb interlayer. The interlayer and the surface board are generally glued together, or they can be welded to form a whole.
CTI aviation laboratory has relatively complete aviation static mechanics testing ability. It has various environmental chambers, such as electronic universal testing machine, high and low temperature pendulum impact testing machine, drop hammer impact testing machine, fastener comprehensive performance testing machine and simulation assembly manipulator, composite material non-destructive testing equipment, high-temperature furnace and high-low temperature / constant temperature and humidity / salt spray / ultraviolet / sunlight simulation, various gauge extensometer, data acquisition instrument, hardness tester and other test and environmental equipment and measurement monitoring The system has a comprehensive ability to detect the static mechanical properties of metal and composite materials. It can carry out static tests in a wide load range from - 180 ℃ to 1250 ℃, drop weight and Charpy pendulum impact tests with a maximum impact energy of 300j, fastener performance and all link simulated assembly process performance tests.
